We love to celebrate a genuinely good community space. Friendly atmosphere, helpful staff, and so many unique options. There are plenty of safe gluten free options, too, that taste so good that my non-celiac partner couldn't tell the difference!! The bulk section and the cheese sections alone are gigantic, it almost feels like checking out different exhibits at the aquarium. Love the plants too. My new favorite grocery store, and the fact that it's a community owned co-op makes me feel really good about shopping here.

The employees are so kind, love the selection of 'Whole Grain, Whole Wheat' items in the bulk bins, make-your-own peanut butter, refillable olive oil. Bins have whole grain pasta, brown rice, healthy salt-free nuts, organic dried fruits, and more. The hot food is excellent, especially the potatoes, pasta w/roasted veggies, homemade muffins/pastries. What a great co-op.

Honest Weight Co-op Market Noted as one of the best co-ops in the state, and that’s true. Visiting from NYC, we were so excited to come here. The food is incredibly fresh and abundant, and it’s a great reminder of the food access available upstate. Five stars for food quality and prices. Two stars for customer service. With a full cart, we chose the shortest checkout line, with one person in front of us. The cashier redirected us to another line of to help someone else, which was unnecessary given the other staff available who could have handled it. The cashier we moved to was out of his station talking to a friend and looked inconvenienced, had personal belongings taking up half the checkout area and it felt like he was tossing our food through. Midway through bagging, a woman rushed over to help, then asked if my wife and I were together, yes we are. The early morning staff (and one customer) energy created a micro-aggressive environment that made my Black wife uncomfortable. We also noticed when we got home that one weighted item had rung up incorrectly by one number and charged us significantly more than the item we bought, but calling the store was easy and the refund was ha

I’ve been shopping at Honest Weight Food Co-op for nearly a decade , all the way back to when they were still on Central Ave. Over the years, it has become so much more than just a grocery store to me. It feels like a true local community built around care, connection, and conscious living. I’ve volunteered with them before, and every interaction has always reflected the same spirit: kind people, genuine service, and a deep commitment to quality and community well-being. The products are amazing, the prepared food is consistently wonderful, and there’s a warmth in the atmosphere that is hard to find elsewhere. In a world where so many places feel transactional, Honest Weight still feels deeply human. It’s one of those rare places that reminds you how meaningful local community spaces can be. I truly, truly love this place, and I’m grateful it has been part of my life for so many years.

Great that supports local farms and producers of local products. Place was packed so has a following. Lots of bulk products so if need specific grain or legume or flour this is the place! Good cheese selection- prices are not from them- small farm cheese is expensive to make - store - ship and keep. They have good selection you won’t find many other places. If need ANYTHING organic or free trade this is the store. Parking is tight so be patient. Would prefer if workers dressed for working in food retail environment.
